About
Carrigtwohill Family Resource Centre opened on 5 November 1991 under the local St Vincent de Paul (St Brigid & St Anne Conference). It grew from home visitation and material aid into a community centre that supports people facing difficulties, with a particular focus on children and families.
Its mission is to work for social justice in solidarity with people who are marginalised, to promote self-sufficiency and to help break the cycle of poverty through early intervention and preventative work. It aims to offer an accessible community service for people experiencing challenges in their lives.
Services range from family support and childcare to counselling, youth support, therapy and peer groups. Details change over time — check carrigtwohillfrc.ie or contact the centre for what is running now.
